The original Mahavir Mandir was a small shrine, but the current grand structure was built in the 20th century. It gained prominence after the establishment of the Mahavir Mandir Trust, which is involved in various charitable activities. The temple's development is linked to the growing faith in Lord Hanuman and the desire to create a significant place of worship. Over the years, it has expanded to include a hospital, a library, and other facilities. It stands as a symbol of religious devotion and community service in Patna. The temple's management is well-organized, ensuring a smooth experience for the large number of devotees.
