The Deer Park in Rourkela was established to provide a sanctuary for deer and to promote wildlife conservation in the region. Initially, a small number of deer were introduced to the area, and over time, the population grew. The park was developed as a recreational space for the public, allowing them to connect with nature and learn about local wildlife. The park has undergone several improvements over the years to enhance visitor experience, including the addition of walking paths, seating areas, and improved animal enclosures. It has become a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, contributing to environmental awareness and conservation efforts.
