The bloodshed witnessed here deeply moved Emperor Ashoka, leading to his conversion to Buddhism and subsequent propagation of peace and non-violence. Good place to visit. It takes around 40 min to reach Dhauli from Iskon temple as ola cabs, autos are available. No need to reserve cab or auto to visit Dhauli as you can find Ola cab from there to reach town. When you visit Dhauli the cab driver will park car far away from the temple. Local auto will take around Rs. 200 and give you tour around the hill and take you to the temple and again you will back to car parking place with same auto. Where you can book Ola cab.
