Established in 1962, the Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, Bangalore, is named after the renowned engineer and statesman, Sir M. Visvesvaraya. It began with a vision to popularize science and technology among the masses, particularly the youth. Over the decades, the museum has grown significantly, adding new exhibits and galleries to reflect advancements in various fields. It has become a prominent landmark in Bangalore, attracting visitors from all over India and abroad. The museum plays a vital role in inspiring future generations of scientists, engineers, and innovators through its interactive exhibits and educational programs.
I visited a science museum that contains various mechanisms, engines, and other fascinating exhibits. This museum is particularly useful for school students, as it helps them understand scientific concepts more easily. During my visit, the museum was very crowded, and there was a special section dedicated to kids. I spent 3 hours exploring the exhibits, and I can confidently say that this is the best museum I've ever seen. It's a must-visit!
We visited on a Sunday and the place was very crowded, mostly with families and kids. If you have an interest in science, this museum is a must-visit. Each floor features different themes, from Fun Science to the Space Gallery. I especially enjoyed the Fun Science area, where you can do experiments and see the results firsthand. Other sections were equally impressive. It took us over 2 hours to explore the entire museum and there’s so much more to see. Overall, it was a great experience!
We really enjoyed this museum. I think kids need a proper full day to enjoy each floor. Each floor had its uniqueness but some displays were boring too. Overall a good exposure for the kids n they will surely enjoy many items, i think the science room was the kids favorite. Seen them spending a lot of time and the mirror maze and other items were worth the time and was quite interesting in that section. But we can’t say the same about the restrooms and canteen upstairs. The food was pathetic.
A must-visit place for children and young science enthusiasts! 👨👩👧👦🧪 The place is sure to spark their curiosity and love for science. Undoubtedly, it's a journey back to the basics of science. 🤓 It's truly an amazing place! 🤩 The government could consider adding new technological items to make it even more attractive. 💡 Parking is a bit of a concern, though. #ScienceEnthusiasts #FamilyFun.
