Astha Path

Astha Path, meaning 'Path of Faith,' is a relatively recent addition to Haridwar's landscape, constructed to enhance the pilgrimage experience and manage the flow of devotees. Before its creation, the area was a congested mix of narrow lanes and makeshift stalls. The development of Astha Path aimed to provide a dedicated pedestrian zone, separating pilgrims from vehicular traffic and creating a more organized and pleasant environment. The project was undertaken to improve infrastructure and facilitate easier access to the ghats along the Ganges. Since its completion, Astha Path has become a popular gathering place for both locals and tourists, contributing to the spiritual ambiance of Haridwar and providing a safe and convenient way to explore the riverside.
