Salar Jung Museum

Reserve an entire day for this place. ✨ This museum is huge. If you’re into history art and culture, you have 50 different halls (each hall having a theme like Mughal paintings, modern paintings, glassware, European sections, manuscripts, walking sticks) and you’ll need a hell lot of energy to properly absorb all of it. 🔎📖 Had a wonderful time here however got really tired towards the end. 😮‍💨

It gives me so much pride knowing that such a wonderful museum exists in India. It is really beautiful and showcases our culture really well. Not only our culture but from all around the world. Tickets were priced ₹50 for adults and ₹20 for children. However, you need to pay an additional ₹50 per phone if you wish to take it inside the museum. There is also a food court in the museum with nice food. Overall it was a good experience.

This is one huge museum, you’ll need atleast half a day to cover all the exhibit halls. Per mobile/camera you need to pay to carry it inside. Good to wear comfortable shoes as lot of walking is required. There are food options inside.
