The region's favorable climate and terrain proved ideal for tea cultivation, leading to the establishment of numerous tea estates. The museum was later developed to preserve the heritage of tea production and educate visitors about the process. Here you get to know complete tea manufacturing process. They also explain it well how tea is made. It takes around 15 mins to complete tea manufacturing tour. You can purchase there many types of flavoured tea like chocolate tea, masala tea, green tea, cardamom tea and many more. They also give a complimentary tea to taste. A large variety of tea available inside. Starting from half kg to how much you want. At the top there is a beautiful view you can watch and take pictures too. Next to tea building there is also a chocolate factory where they show the process of making chocolate too, and also has a large variety of chocolate available inside to purchase.
A complete tea manufacturing process in live production can be seen. The factory usually is not crowded and entry is free. Informative and detailed history of tea being displayed at the entrance. The complete tour takes min 15 min. However one can easily spend an hour reading and viewing the production process. At the end of the tour, a variety of tea is available for purchase. In the vicinity of this factory, there is a small adventure part with a beautiful view of hills and towns. Though this is not the part of the factory, it is possible to enjoy it with the same visit. Also, the chocolate factory is the next building where entry is free and one section shows manufacturing of chocolate coated nuts. Further in the room, purchase of chocolate is made available.
