The Prachina Museum is housed within the Junagarh Fort, a magnificent structure built by Raja Rai Singh between 1588 and 1593 AD. While the fort itself has a long and storied history, the museum was established much later to preserve and showcase the royal family's extensive collection of artifacts. These objects, once part of the everyday lives and ceremonial occasions of the rulers, offer a tangible connection to Bikaner's rich past.
