Moosi Maharani Ki Chhatri was built in memory of Maharaja Bakhtawar Singh and his concubine, Moosi Rani, who committed sati (self-immolation) on his funeral pyre in 1815. Maharaja Vinay Singh, Bakhtawar Singh's son, constructed this elegant cenotaph to honor their devotion. The lower level, crafted from red sandstone, showcases the valor and strength of the Rajput rulers. The upper level, made of pristine white marble, symbolizes Moosi Rani's purity and sacrifice. The intricate artwork and historical significance make the Chhatri a poignant reminder of the past, highlighting the cultural and social practices prevalent during that era.
