Garden Of Caves

The Garden of Caves doesn't have a deeply documented historical narrative in the traditional sense. Its history is more intertwined with local Khasi folklore and the natural history of the region. The caves themselves were formed over centuries by the continuous erosion of limestone rocks due to the heavy rainfall characteristic of Cherrapunji.
