Arthur's Seat

Arthur's Seat is named after Sir Arthur Malet, who used to sit here and gaze at the Savitri River, mourning the loss of his wife and children who drowned in it. The point holds historical significance as it's believed to be the place from where the Savitri River plunges into the valley to form a scenic waterfall known as the Tiger's Leap. The surrounding region has been a popular hill station since the British era, and Arthur's Seat has remained a prominent attraction, drawing tourists with its captivating views and historical background.
