Murud-Janjira Fort

Murud-Janjira Fort stands as a testament to the Siddis' naval prowess. Built in the 15th century, it was strategically positioned to control trade routes and defend against invaders. The Siddis, originally from Abyssinia (modern-day Ethiopia), ruled Janjira for centuries, leaving behind a legacy of naval dominance and architectural marvel.
