Gopal Mandir

Gopal Mandir was constructed in the 19th century by Bayajibai Shinde, the queen of Maharajah Daulat Rao Shinde. It is considered one of the grandest temples in Ujjain. The temple's construction reflects the Maratha style of architecture, prevalent during that era. The silver-plated doors of the temple are particularly noteworthy, believed to have been looted and later recovered from Mahmud Ghazni.
