Sunset Point - Where the sky kisses the hills!

While Sunset Point doesn't have a specific historical event associated with it, the surrounding Pachmarhi region holds historical significance. The area has been inhabited since prehistoric times, with evidence of cave paintings and rock shelters. During the British Raj, Pachmarhi became a popular hill station and served as the summer capital of the Central Provinces. The name Rajendragiri, sometimes used for Sunset Point, is a more recent addition and likely refers to Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. Over time, the spot gained popularity for its stunning sunset views and became known as Sunset Point.
