Dalai Lama Temple, Tsuglagkhang Complex

Following the 1959 Tibetan uprising, the Dalai Lama and many of his followers fled to India. The Indian government granted them refuge in Dharamsala, which became the center of the Tibetan government-in-exile. The Tsuglagkhang Complex was established soon after, serving as the main temple and residence of the Dalai Lama.
