Colva's history dates back to the 16th century when it served as a prominent fishing village. During the Portuguese colonial era, Colva emerged as a popular retreat for affluent families, with several grand mansions built along the coast. The beach gained significant popularity as a tourist destination in the mid-20th century, attracting both domestic and international visitors. Today, Colva retains its charm as a bustling beach town, blending its historical past with its modern-day appeal as a vibrant tourist hub.

My shoes was missing from my luggage, when I checked out on 22 July 2024, and luggage drop at reception, their staff said it can't be happen from our hotel, when I forced to ask for CCTV footage then within 2 hr they found my shoes.. So be careful of your belongings.
Rooms are not so good but it's location is super .... Just in front of the sea. This resort has it's own Swimming pool. This has also attached to restaurant and bar.
My recent stay at Colmar Beach Resorts in Goa was highly disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the experience was far below our expectations. The check-in process was chaotic, with unorganized staff and a long wait time, leaving us frustrated before we even got to our room. The room itself was a major letdown. It was small, poorly maintained, and far from clean. The bed was uncomfortable, and the linens appeared to be stained and not properly laundered. The bathroom was in dire need of renovation, with moldy tiles and a leaking faucet. The overall state of the room made it hard to relax or feel at ease. The facilities at the resort were equally underwhelming. The swimming pool was dirty and seemed to be poorly maintained, making it unappealing to use. The on-site restaurant offered a very limited menu, and the quality of the food was subpar. The breakfast options were especially disappointing, with stale pastries and cold, tasteless dishes. The location of the resort, while close to the beach, did not make up for the numerous shortcomings. The surrounding area was noisy and felt unsafe, detracting from any potential enjoyment of the proximity to the beach. To make matters worse, the staff were unresponsive and unhelpful. When we raised concerns about the cleanliness and maintenance of our room, they were dismissive and offered no solutions or assistance. The lack of basic customer service and care was astonishing. Overall, my stay at Colmar Beach Resorts was a disaster from start to finish. The combination of poor service, inadequate facilities, and uncomfortable accommodations made for a regrettable experience. I would strongly advise against staying at this resort and recommend looking for better options in Goa.
Location is good but services are worst. Since rooms had no phones, had to go to reception to ask for every other service and that too multiple times.
