Padmapuram Garden was established during World War II as a horticultural training center. It aimed to provide vegetables and fruits for the soldiers stationed in the region. The toy train was added later to enhance the visitor experience, and the hanging cottages were built to give the place a unique touch. The layout is thoughtfully designed with well paved pathways, seating areas.lnformative boards about the various plants are educative.The toy train ride around the garden is a highlight for both the children and seniors .Tickets cost ₹60/person. The garden also features unique attractions like hanging cottages and a nursery where we can purchase saplings.Parking and restroom facilities are available.Entry fee is reasonable.To avoid midday hear,it is better to visit in the morning or evening. Overall, Padmapuram Garden is a must visit destination for any one travelling to Vizag.
Wonderful Place with greenery everywhere you look, the difference between this garden and the other,there are many scientific trees which are not seen outside. Every tree name mentioned on board in front of it along with its scientific name. The green gardens are perfect to capture wonderful pictures.
